hi ms. teresa,kamusta ka na? kung hei fat choi...i am longing to hear your old studio album songs...i am a fan of yours here in the phillipiines...since i was still in high school then during the 70's and early 80's...i remember that while you are still visitng the phils. you are often guested in the tv show of the late mr. joe quirino..."Seeing stars with Joe Quirino" over channel 13 then...your counterpart also a fil-chinese lady...ms gracie rivera which i have her till this time the 45 rpm "The bird and the child" the only song that i knew from her and i also love the song lyrics...but your songs till this date that i have is still in a cassette tapes and are becoming defective now with a sqeeking sound everytime i am playing it...my goodness...where i could purchase your old studio albums revival recordings...i love all your songs...specially all the songs in the "songs for you "album also the other albums which contains :"Stone soul picnic" vincent etc...the latest one tape that i have with the songs "another suitcase another hall,dance with me,i've never been to me etc...I also love this tape which was given to me by my cousin during 80's when they used to work there in hongkong..it is now also becoming defective if i will play it on my tape deck..oh gee...how i missed your wonderful voice...lately dring late 90's my cousin gave me a gift of your concert CD...its the latest that i have which features tevee ,you also have a duet with her and i love the song that you did...and a dance and song no. from you little daughter then...i love it ..but still im longing to have your studio albums from the 70's/80's if theres still a chance to have it and available...from then i knew that your record label released here in the phils. is under wea,which house under dyna recording...that co. releases records under warner,electra and atlantic records...your song released by then"i'd really love to see you tonight" was on wea label of dyna records..but by then i still dont have a phono turntables so i did not able to purchased it by then and the fact that i am still a elementary or early high school stude by that time...sana you can still release those song from the past of course with the copyright authorizations of those recording studios before...longing to have it..God bless...happy chinese new year to you and your family...kung hei fat choi...salamat teresa...o diva!

I grew up with your songs, first time listened to your disc(old type big disque with the needle running on the disc) haha!! repeat, repeat and repeat without any choices in the boarding school in Hong Kong, I chose your disc among them and listened to it often during the weekend because I was falling in love with your beautiful voice with all your nice songs that I like very much, in imitating your English pronunciation, your way of singing etc and wished to improve my English as well in memory of each word one by one in my mind, there was no lyrics paper inside fournie, it was quite difficult and did not know sometimes the meaning of every word but it was fun and I liked it really! I was 12, 13,14, after leaving that boarding school, I did not listen again to your songs anymore because the big disc was belong to the boarding school and I was in a poor family, no disc at all, after that, I continued my study in school and worked, always very busy for both. Since 1984 I live in Paris, married with a japanese, two daughters age 17 and 14 who were both borned in Paris and educate in local French school, we are running a small Japanese restaurant in Paris near l'Arc de Thiomphe also near the Eiffel Tower by foot about 15 minuits walk, I finished always late at bat like 23:30-12:00, 3 minuets walk back home, actually never sleep so early until 03:00-04:00 A.M. Tonight, my husband came home early and watched the drama, after finished watching News from Internet, I went to bed and listened to the song "Anak" of Frederic original Philipino singer because I met a Philipino customer whose family came to Paris, after Euro Disneyland and came to our restaurant for a very late dinner at 22:30, before, I told her and her Arabian husband that I know this song and love it even know a little bit to sing, I let them listening to that song with my i- pad and sang together, I listened to it again with my i-pad on the bed, from similar and liaison meme auteur, yours came out then I concentrated to your songs only without doing anything else even did not go to toilet for "pipi" until now. I really want to say thank you that through your old songs that reminded me a lot of my childhood living in that boarding school, it brings me to my younger days, all in my memories clearly in my mind, unforgettable souvenirs!! You are one of the best singers of Hong Kong. You are very beautiful and elegant. Very surprised to jump to your page and happy to listen now again to your old songs right now in 2011. Thank you very much again deep in my heart, wish to ask your autographe if you'll come one day in Paris. I was delighted to find this, and other sites relating to Teresa tonight. I was living in HK in the 70s and got to know Teresa and her family quite well. She was a only a teenager then, but had a terrific voice. She was also a very nice, down to earth, girl. She was a pop star and had her own TV show, but she had no airs and graces. I had a few days in HK in 2003, en route to visit my daughter in Australia, and I was very disappointed to find I had just missed one of her shows. I'm very pleased to know that she is still a star, and is now helping young up and coming singers. Maybe next time I go to Australia I will be able to arrange a visit to HK to coincide with one of her concerts. I first heard teresa thru the song "Conversation" in the late 70s and spinned this song over and over on my turntable until my parents have to hide the black vinyl record I bought with my school allowances. I tried to locate this song on many of teresa's website but to no avail. Even on this site, the song play out under "Conversation" is actually "Could we start again please".Pls do amend this error cause it's a beautiful song and no one sings it better than our fabulous teresa.
Where can I actually find her old albums from EMI ?

I'm glad to listen to 情逢敵手 again from this website. This is one of my most favourite songs from Teresa. I have suspended spinning vinyl but still keep 何必放棄 LP. I really hope that this record can be released in CD.

There is no one in HK that can sing like you. I'm Canadian and have been a fan of yours forever. Now my 7 year daughter also loves to hear you and Lam sing cause we brought her to your concern when she was 5 or so and then we bought the CD. We even did the dance together with our nanny while watching the TCI kids dance around the stage during your concert with Lam. You really can't waste your talents, you need to help teach more kids what love and music is all about. God bless you and your family.

Justin: Much as Teresa would like to re-release these albums, it's not up to her. EMI still hold the rights to all her classic English recordings, and the Tokyo Dreaming album belongs to Warner. I hope we can get these two companies to do something next year!
